About Us

Welcome to the California Yacht Club Catering Blog (CYCater), a behind-the-scenes look at weddings, parties and other special events held at the California Yacht Club in Marina del Rey, CA! You'll see exclusive event photos, get tips and info on event planning, meet exciting new vendors, learn club history and much, much more!

Founded in 1922, CYC has over 1,200 members and plays a large role in the sailing community. With regattas going on year-round, a junior program, woman's association, and several other internal groups and organizations, CYC is a relaxed, yet elegant place to entertain family, friends and business associates.

From retreats and small conferences, to rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, and bar/bat mitzvahs, the CYC Catering department can help you plan small and simple to big and elaborate events of all sorts!
